Diana Perdue
Dr. Diana S. Perdue is the Chief Education Officer at Rimwe Educational Resources LLC, her small business that focuses on empowering educators through expert instructional design, faculty development, effective use of AI tools, and practical technology tools for course creation. In her current role as Senior Instructional Designer at Regis College, she develops and supports faculty training in inclusive, technology-enhanced teaching. She created Designing Courses that Work for Everyone: Instructional Design for Subject Matter Experts (ID for SMEs™) and Using AI in Your Teaching, practical, on-demand programs that help educators integrate generative AI tools ethically and effectively into their teaching practice. Dr. Perdue also co-facilitates the college’s AI Faculty Learning Community and co-leads the AI Collaboration Studio, where she guides faculty in exploring creative and responsible AI use across disciplines, including sessions on AI & Art and AI & Music. In her work as a Fulbright Scholar to Rwanda, she served as the Director of e-Learning for the Kigali Institute of Science & Technology. Holding a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education and certification in Instructional Design Mastery, she brings decades of experience in K–12 and higher education. Her work emphasizes Universal Design for Learning (UDL), digital pedagogy, and the ethical application of emerging technologies to promote equity and engagement in learning.
